Good weekend. Trying to wrestle with a cold. Finished my kayak leg of The Big Hurt yesterday under my estimated time. Gorgeous day to be on the water. Ready for Monday (after a good night's sleep.)
Early swim, then a deep tissue massage, and off to Sequim for the acrylics class. Somewhere in there I need to walk Wilie--or he needs to walk me. We walk about the same pace.
Walked the dog, moved on to deep water aerobics, then went for a short bike ride. Contemplating mowing the lawn. Mow or knit. Hard decision.
Wilie dropped off to get his fur beautified, will work on mixing some paints, and then head to the pool for a bit of hydrotherapy.
Finished morning swim. Looking forward to painting class later today.
Found the Global Readaloud site with more amazing books to read to my class. So many books, so little time.
After a district grade level yesterday I have officially reached my max on testing. MAP testing, SBAC practice testing, constant testing. So when do I have time to teach?
Any successful ways people integrate tech with social studies focus (K-6). I have a former colleague interviewing for a position and she would love some ideas to share during her upcoming interview.
Quiet brisk morning. Fire-making skills are not working so well this morning. 3rd attempt.
I am thankful for my healthy family enjoying Thanksgiving in Montana. May the deer hide well today.
