So, this is the study I’m enrolled in. I’m enrolled (barring being pregnant 😂) in the expansion phase, meaning they’ve determined it’s safe and have arrived at the “maximum” safe and effective dose, and are enrolling lots of people now. Immuno-Oncology it seems very exciting and promising

GUYS!!!! I went to do my initial screening for the clinical trial Tuesday and Wednesday. Laboratory, urinalysis, and ekg. Nurse called this morning. Lab work showed positive....wait for it......PREGNANCY! WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK?!??

So, if you had metastatic cancer that’s essentially considered incurable (all treatment is meant only to slow progression), would you participate in a research study or clinical trial?

Today was the first day I stayed by myself. Not all day, but it made me a little nervous. Also...how old or young am I that I need a damn babysitter?
