Termination of Twitter Message Syncing
Due to the recent adjustments of Twitter policies, the feature of synchronizing plurks to Twitter will no longer be available starting from 00:00 Sept. 1st, 2023 (UTC).
For users who already activated Message Syncing, their token and all the data collected for this sole purpose will be deleted automatically. Plurk will no longer store the information about your Twitter account.

seems like a good decision!
Didn't even know there's such a feature... Oh well.
know twitter from this plurk feature
I appreciate the subtle violence of quietly refusing to call Twitter "X" or "The Website Formerly Known As" or whatever
Had no idea that was such a feature. But good on them!
the writing was on the wall for that
Oh I didn't know that this feature is existing tho
Это хорошо. Надеюсь теперь здесь будет больше оригинального контента.

Good
Good move plurk! Once again proving why you guys are the best!
Oh well, I ain't using Twitter or should I call it X now? So, this is not impactful to me at all.
Nice
does anyone know if there's a function for posting plurks to a discord server? I'd personally find that useful
^ very true
Wordpress already cut ties with them.
I thought this feature has gone long time but it's a good decision though because twitter is now X- a rebranding app
I never synched it since I treat Twitter differently 🤗
Twitter is ded and reborn to smthg else, this makes sense.
Twitter 'crossed' out a few things
looool what nonsense did they put through this time
I don't think I knew about this feature. Confirmation: does this mean we have until September 1 to convert our tweets to Plurk or will this mean anyone converting their tweets to Plurk will be automatically removed from converting?
wf7: i think it's just about future plurks/tweets. Present ones were synchronized at the time they were posted but they're completely independent from one another after posting
Wait, there's a Twitter sync?
toiosh: Thank you for the heads up, I had no idea there were Twitter syncing capabilities here. It's probably too late for me to do and Twitter syncing now anyway, I think I'll just start fresh.
wf7: honestly, I'd say it's better to stop associating with twitter in general seeing the direction the platform is going. That's a personal choice though
Finally! Twitter is cancer.
Been using Twitter (and Facebook) syncing for years but I think it started (both) not syncing since last year so thanks for informing us, Twitter anyway became a cesspool of trolls and bots so this doesn't affect me that much
Never used Twitter anyway and even more so after Musk ruined it beyond repair
toiosh: definitely, I think starting fresh is the best idea in the long run.
Oh I wish I knew this feature befoooore 🥺
This sucks. X/Twitter sucks. I love Plurk ❤️ it never changes or rather doesn’t make unnecessary changes
Never stop calling it Twitter.
I read "Termination of Twitter" Yay . . . but then it was about the message syncing
Welp. Plurk is better anyway.
Got it
Twitter is the toxic version of plurk 😁
to be honest i used plurk mostly to speak my mind since i haven't much time visiting and enjoying myself over twitter/x. this kind of loss of me, i must find another third party app which synchronize to x to speak my mind. —A
i use plurk to manage my evil investment corporation. i take money from babies and give it to undeserving adults
You were kind to use the word “adjustments” rather than the somewhat more accurate “shitshow”
down wit twitter!!
Twitter used to be the gold standard,
now it's the measure of a cow patty.
Elon broke what wasn't broken.
God forbid we give up censorship!
tbh I wish plurk would take over the Twitter niche
is there a way to share short clip here?
