we had read more science fiction. It really is the best type of literature, just read "Brave New World" and you'll know.

that the works we covered in class greatly improved my knowledge of American literature, especially concerning the different genres.

tying in pictures with what we're learning. I'm a visual learner so it helps. I found Banksy's work especially amusing.

going to miss class discussions. They were invaluable to my understanding of the texts. My favorite discussion was of "Daisy Miller."

Entropy is easier to read during the parts with the party downstairs. The stuff going on upstairs is pretty heavy to sift through.

reflecting on the works we've read in class. I think my favorite was The Awakening. Anyone else have a favorite?

I found it ironic that Meatball was trying to restore order downstairs while Callisto was contemplating chaos upstairs.

embarrassed reading Sexy at the airport. An Indian couple sat next to me and their child tried reading over my shoulder.

I enjoyed Entropy but was confused whenever Callisto went into monologues about science.

excited to read Pynchon. I'm not familiar with any of his work but I hear his name a lot so he must be good!
