i feel as if everybody in this class refers to stories and authors i have never even heard of. maybe bc i am one of the only non-english

we could have spent a little more time in entropy. i still felt a little confused by it. i will have to re-read it before wednesday

i like reading about different cultures in this class. its refreshing to look at life through a different cultures perspective

i enjoyed cathedral and recitatif more than i did she unnames them just because i dont enjoy fantasy/science fiction writing so much..

i really enjoyed the beginning of invisible man but im feeling as if it is just dragging on now..

so is the narrator not ellison? i thought this was ellison's life story.. is this just like a fictionalized story of his life pretty much?

i felt very bad for willy.. he made me feel very depressed bc he worked so hard to provide for his family and he ended up with nothing

i really enjoyed hemingway and i find it very sad that such a good writer would want to end his own life.

so i fell asleep while reading the waste land earlier and i was almost late for work! so now im back to trying to get through it again..
