usually start the day with one of my chill Pandora artist stations, like Explosions in the Sky or Hozier, to help ease myself into work. anything rock tends to wait until midday.

today I was already wide awake from waking up several times during the night and loud morning news was upstairs, so it was female-vocalist metal at 7am lol

ah yes, that feeling when you want to write, sit down with that intention and get everything open and ready, and just... can't. because there's too much on your mind >.<

so glad yesterday!me put in for tomorrow off because I'm wishing I had today off too

getting a meaty tag done before work, where was this motivation and writing brain the rest of the summer lol

hoping this is a positive sign for the day, even though I know work should have me busy today.
