well I failed at avoiding the work/sleep cycle this past week. but it's the weekend, and since I was up bright and early I've already run my errand while it was merely cool and sticky, so here's hoping for a productive Saturday

this afternoon has been weird, with a dash of stress from having to try and direct my mom safely home because a bunch of streets are flooded or blocked by idiots who tried to drive through water. and now these dumb storms have my head feeling like it's in a vice -.-

just a quick FYI that busy season has arrived for me at work, and if it's anything like last year it won't lighten up until Oct/Nov, sob. so I may be more sparse and tags from me during the day will be rare. doesn't mean I might not still try to sneak stuff in on lunch breaks but it'll really depend on the day/week

well my morning got visited by yet another BSOD so I had to shift priorities and spent the last couple hours researching stuff. I'd been planning on getting a new pc but was debating putting it off a bit longer; clearly that was tempting fate. I suppose at least now I have a package to look forward to after what's supposed to be a hectic workweek
