just got an email with recipes for "healthier cookies." I do not want healthier cookies! I want rich, buttery, sugary, fattening cookies!

my sleep expert friend has some suggestions about how I can get some decent rest.

caffeine. Badly.

So sleep-deprived I'm starting to hallucinate a little. Need sleep. Can't sleep. Caffeine instead? Don't have caffeine. Sadface.

And I just discovered that I've had my sweater on inside out all day. Awesome-sauce. Sigh.

traffic isn't full of suck tonight...gotta get the kids to Barnes & Noble (and gotta get me the fancy leather Anansi Boys/American Gods!)

going to eat lunch now. Where "eat lunch" = "work on my meditation shawl".

having a conversation about my favorite grammatical tense (future perfect). Really more about the fact that I have a favorite tense.

obtained coffee, rebooted the computer, mailed a Sooper Sekrit package, and is now working on not just getting caught up but getting ahead.
