I am home! Was discharged yesterday, drove 4 hours home. I am doing pretty well!

Day 2 post-op: I survived surgery. Pain was not controlled in recovery room. I think we’ve finally got it worked out closer to my home schedule. Anyway, doing my exercises. Walking in the hall. I think PT maybe discharged me since I did so well yesterday. But, damn, it really fucking hurts. The muscles where the incision is hurts, obviously.

Hi, guys! Just popping in to say I get to have hip replacement surgery on Friday. 😟 So, that’s a thing.

Dental work this morning...three teeth are coming out. 😞 Because of some of the medicine I’m taking to prevent cancer metastasis, there is a moderate risk of osteonecrosis of the jaw after tooth extraction. Pray for me! plus, I’m terrified of the dentist (which is why three have to come out >.< ) Uffda.

Also, I hate that in the days after treatment I feel so damned fragile. Physically fragile, mentally fragile, emotionally fragile. Tears for no damned reason. Physically weak. Unable to comprehend simple ideas or follow normal conversation. Uffda.

I wish I could drink wine. Like...a glass of wine just sounds good sometimes, but alas, I can’t. And, coffee. Sucks to be me.

That morning when you actually feel pretty good (after a month of not feeling good), and you try to get ready for cancer center appts, and your face/hair is a wreck, and you actually look like shit, but the more you try, the worse it gets >.< Also, you are in NC, but your shoes are in SC Whatever...

I have family coming in from out of town. I don’t feel well. The house is a wreck. And, I can’t seem to get anything down. I think there might be some towels in the dryer, maybe. Uffda. this is me freaking out
