it doesn't matter one bit to me what biological gender the characters are in a romantic pair. Relationships are damn complicated and with social issues everywhere no matter what kind of pair, period.

make it a goal in some original stories to have at least two girls who care deeply about each other and not be romantic rivals for a guy. The ones that don't? Those are often my most depressing tragedies.
