While I understand why, it's still a little annoying that a good chunk of parts of the disabled internet 'community' is just mass posting of GoFundMes, Ko-fis, venmo and cashapp handles, and so on to the point that it crowds out literally everything else.

[fandom etc] Came across some people talking about people crowing about "knowing" famous people are bad people because of not liking their stuff and Joss Whedon was brought up as an example, which was an interesting choice.

[star trek, politics] people are being fake nerds and wrong on the internet. 😔 People are meming about the Bell Riots (on the wrong day) and some are talking about how Star Trek's 2024 is better than ours.

Sudden thought zinging in the back of my brain remembering the middle school teacher I had who was a Star Wars fangirl- specifically Timothy Zahn- and once recited her Star Wars poem to the class.

[book inquiry, mildly negative] Has anyone read Andrew Joseph White's books? I was vaguely interested and had one of his earlier ones on my potential to-read list but now I'm kind of unsure between every protagonist being described exactly the same in every blurb, regardless of historical accuracy/sense.

Fields of Mistria is very good, I'm more than pleased with it so far for it being $14 and early access.
