[Cancer][Good news!]

We got the biopsies back and it's not cancer! It was a benign tumour! The type of tumour could apparently cause severe internal bleeding, so it would have needed to be taken care of anyway, but now it's gone and I never had cancer anyway!

Cryoablation surgery appears to have gone well! I feel a little beat up, a lot tired, but ultimately my body is working as expected. Follow up appointment with the doctor in a month. I think we’ll start finding out how well it killed the tumour around then!

Update on the status! Because of concerns about my heart (I have congestive heart failure) it's been decided to try out a less invasive procedure first. This procedure being Cryoablation. It has a slight chance of failure, but they can go back in again to do it again to kill anything they didn't catch the first time.

So! Current status. I have a surgery scheduled on the 17th of February to remove a tumor from one of my kidneys. As you can probably tell from the content warning, it is thought to be cancerous. However the prognosis looks good.

It's looking most likely that my surgery will be scheduled in (and hopefully FOR) December. I'll explain what it's for when I know for sure.
