Am so upset. Hospital has rescheduled my surgery to 10 october. Due to 'circumstances'. Their comment: 'it's only 4 days later 'enraged me. I am self employed, I have worked my ass off the past week to arrange and plan work and projects around the surgery date.
So now I have to reschedule everything again, so much work. Besides that I am extremely anxious for this surgery and now I have to wait extra days, this is not helping my fear.
I got angry too. I know this is a type of surgery (cataract) that is performed mostly on elder people. So I asked if they couldnt reschedule a pensioner instead of a self employed freelancer who is now going to freak out in stress...Nope. OK, it wasn't nice I guess.
Anyway, this weekend will be fun filled with rescheduling work, zoomcalls and whatnot.
I am sorry. Hospitals are not every accommodating, ever.
