Hello all plurkers! How’'s your weekends? In my last plurk, some of you mentioned that you love reading. Then, do you plurkers like Neil Gaiman or "Good Omens"? I just finished his "Stardust" recently (in Chinese version ofcourse).
Neil Gaiman is one of my favourite author ever. I love Good Omens to the bits and have you watched the mini-series? I have watched it seven times! Stardust is also one of my favourites. I watched it first as a kid and then I read the book just recently (in original English, of course). Still love it.
lumienarchanayuki: WOW I suddenly feel that you will know every works I read or watched. No, I have not watch his mini-series(are they also on Netflix?). I think Neil Gaiman's works are still best in his words. That's why I want to read "Good Omens" before I watch the TV version. Honestly, it would be better if I read the English version ,but I am too lazy
plurkenjoy: The mini-series is in Amazon Prime, sadly. But it is really worth to watch. Neil himself wrote the script for the mini-series and produced it. You will love it if you love the book. It has the elements of the second book that never was and it's so satisfying to watch after you read the book. It's okay to read it in Chinese. Still awesome.
I see, so Tristan in the book is much younger than in the movie interesting. Now let’s find translated versions of Gaiman’s books, I’m starting to feel curious.
I'm not a huge Gaiman fan, but I saw the movie years ago. Good omens is amazing(!!!!) but it's really Terry Pratchett's style, not Gaiman's. I enjoyed the miniseries.
FeistyFeline: Lots of my friends are watching "Good Omens" even though they don't know Gaiman. I think I will tell the differences after I watch the book and the series of "Good Omens".
