starfiresilverstar: it makes me sad cause I especially love my beachfront plot. It's got that perfect land/water balance that's nearly impossible to find. But like... if I'm not logging in it's money that I'm just wasting

Yup yup. Yak has been bugging me because I still pay premium and I can’t remember the last time I logged in.

yeah, I got rid of a lot of mine, including a tiny plot fronting protected water. I was so upset, but with a large mortgage and me being retired it was just too expensive.
The additional Premium allowance and tier reduction did help a bit. I didn't have to get rid of as much as I'd feared.
I had to abandon most of it 😢

What was really galling was that two people were looking round some plots while I had them for sale, but didn't buy. Two days after I abandoned the land there was a bloody great mall on the plots!
There is loads of abandoned land on the region, and a lot around my plots, but they'd bought those very plots direct from LL
