[uspol/psa] Not going to discuss anything OTHER than this, but please remember the Red Mirage and subsequent Blue Shift are both normal parts of US general elections.

Unless it's an absolute blowout (which is unlikely but technically not impossible), we will likely not have actual final results tonight.

This means Republicans will always tend to show an early lead followed by a Democrat rally, neither of which may actually be accurate because they're just how things are counted.

there's also precincts reporting all at once, obviously smaller precincts will get their vote done sooner, and those tend to be rural and lean Republican
