I think the climax begins when she first swims but I dont think there was any one event that could be considered the "climax"

I agree, I don't think there was a definite climax. The closest was probably when Edna learned to swim.

I think the story had a climactic ending. Surely its open for interpretation since realism portrays "a lot of talk & little action."
