i guess I always thought microblogging was rather more like chatting

call it what you like...talking in short spurts is chatting rather than story telling

expressing the short, quirky thoughts that don't necessarily merit a full blog post.

Sometime, these spark discussions, but not always and that's ok.

But here on plurk I find everything so fluid that I literally feel like I'm in ... chatroom 2.0 lol

it's much easier to carry on a discussion in plurk...I think I've left twitter for good

And by the way, I'm not saying one or the other is better - but rather that they are different. (OK I'll shut up now Carry on!)

And PS it looks like the old Digg rule ("If you want Diggs, talk about Digg") applies on Plurk too

ah, yes...I remember fidonet and a few others...i had my own little bbs, not netted...just dialup to my house

Yeah I think it can work more like a chat room for bloggers. you have some things like twitter but then you have everything else.

it makes me wish I found plurk alot faster than I did with twitter ha ha

i really never got too into twitter...too one-sided for me...convos were just too difficult

exactly thats what I didn't like basically I saw it as facebook and myspace friend status updates lol

everyone just kinda used it to update their status and it stayed at that. Never really went much farther
