how many friends you need on plurk before your plurks prompt responses. Seems like Twitter sparks more discussion for me than plurk so far.

i didn't feel like Twitter was a good place for a discussion. Plurk's much better for that. 
Well, to be fair, I've put a lot more time on Twitter, too and have over 350 friends there lol So I guess I'm just being impatient.

it really depends on the plurk, because sometimes i get responses and most the time, not many.

And I'm sure you're right about the patience thing. I'm expecting too much of Plurk, too fast. What a slave-driver I am!

I have to agree with disigu: Some plurks get tons of responses, and other get a big fat ZERO.

when you see people make interesting or funny comments on yours and other treads, befriend them. Then things will start flying.
I have found that plurk brings in more responses...
