there's definitely a difference between being attracted to the same gender and actually being queer.

being queer has so much culture to it, and a certain level of awareness as well. there's so much more to being queer than your attraction.

I think it's so weird how straight people fail to recognize gay romance. gay romance will have a lot of the same indicators as hetero romance and straight ppl still will just go "I don't see those two getting together" or "they're just good friends"

even weirder, straight ppl will then mistake a gay relationship for being siblings 😨
