No sacrificing one for the other...when both can co-exist.
So I'll just embrace both and be a child and an adult...
But then again, there is no such thing as total dependence or independence.
A child is dependent. An adult is independent, at some rate.
It means that you can be mature and take responsibilities while being yourself still. Handling things by yourself. Taking care of things.
Maturity doesn't come with losing your inner child.
But then again...it doesn't mean that a child doesn't have responsibilities too.
I don't think it is. The carefree ways of feeling like a child are nice.
But that's just in her context.
