there might be benefit of not having the Twitter network... so can use this for tracking everything and not get oversync'ed

that people who are not yet on Twitter would definitely 'get' Plurk the moment they arrive though

the design of the Plurk timeline, but not sure whether it'll latch on if not enough people are using it
