Today I got emails from Rover saying my profile was approved, and the person in charge of hiring for Phoenix Comic Can't Call it Con Anymore. I'm putting "sit down and respond to both of these" at the top of the day tomorrow.

The rain is coming do-o-own (hooray!), and Mr Maxface is being INTENSELY snuggly. After the last few days, I'm giving myself permission to take advantage of this & chill for a while. I'm setting an alarm so if I doze off, I won't lose the WHOLE day, but I'm definitely letting myself get a late start. 😊

Investigated stack of boxes of unknown contents. In one, discover TREASURE TROVE of old art and writing, some of which dates back to high school, including the ORIGINALS of some things I thought only existed as terrible, early 00s-era scans. Logs printed out so I could take them with me to reread later. (Logs whose digital files are long gone.)

Whatever part he may have played in the feline fecal uprising across town, it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to remain cross with Max when his Dignified Old Man Floof is being accentuated by the Tinkerbell costume he's been wearing happily for the last hour.

unexpectedly unpleasant kitty surprises at the apartment mean i have an overabundance of gross laundry to do. max at least made up for whatever his part in the mess was by being exceptionally well behaved while i dragged him back across town to my mom's with me.
