W’s off this morning to plant trees with 8 classes of 3rd graders, so I’m home checking in on my class and trying to decide between two different fabrics to sew a sweatshirt.

My university course started yesterday - 14 enrolled, and 3 more tomorrow. So far, so good!

We’re home from our short trip down the coast. It was grey and cloudy until we turned the corner on the Peninsula, and then it was sunny. It was a nice trip.

We walked the beach today, and came back via a paved trail within a state park. It’s a beautiful day, with surfers and others having fun.

We’re at the cabin for a few days.

I’m getting ready to teach my research methods course - changing some things, updating, and generally having a month to do it this time. Last year I didn’t even have access to,the course until,the second day of the quarter, and then I felt crazy for the first two weeks.

We made it out on the trail today to clear a small tree off the trail. It was chilly but a nice walk!
