We’re home from our short trip down the coast. It was grey and cloudy until we turned the corner on the Peninsula, and then it was sunny. skipz: can you imagine what it was like when the surf brought these logs in?! The bank to the south is so eroded that they are taking down 10 cabins that are now too close to the edge of the bluff. We have pilings here that can still be seen where the logs were rafted before taking them to the mill, too. We still have a mill at the end of the spit.
