it is 2am and we are waiting on a big thunderstorm coming through, and it is still 35 degrees. Hope no lightning starts any fires

we are preparing for a heatwave today of 43 degrees, yuck. I can already hear the wind starting up

it is nearly midnight and it has finally cooled down, now I feel like knitting!

I just discovered the Homespun podcast with Clare and Molly and absolutely love it!

2014 is starting out as a sick year for me. Have been in bed all day with a headache which has been like that for the last 4 days, and hubby has done his back too.

just went for a bike ride. Havent ridden a bike in about 20 years and now I know how unfit I am. Must try and increase a little bit each day although riding in the wind takes your breath away!

Christmas Day is almost over here, went for a nap after 5:30 and just woke up at 9:40pm. Guess it might be a late night and we have to do it all over again tomorrow!
