man, I am more wiped out by having a convalescent dog that I was by having the dog in the hospital!

oh no! Poor Mr Dog! We just visited him at the clinic- he's got a big bald tummy and a giant incision (8 or more inches!) as well as an IV!

ouch. Just got the total for the vet visit - after xrays, ultrasound, endoscopy and the actual surgery - Mr Dog cost us over 4k today...
