Zitkala-sa was a Yankton Dakota writer, musician, educator & activist. Her books are among the first works to bring native tales to English audiences. She co-founded the NCAI, speaking for American-Indian peoples civil rights. She spoke up about the misery of being stripped of her heritage & abused at Indiana boarding schools.

July 4th is a holiday for the Declaration of Independence, the document that officiated the separation of the British colonies in America from Britain. In it, they called native peoples “Monsters" & "Savages”. They slaughtered thousands of natives, almost completely wiping them out. Yet still people celebrate. Stop honoring July 4th . Give native lands back.

All users I see have posted harmful misinformation regarding elections, religion, and more, but people who try to go against the misinformation get screamed at. Sound familiar? Thats because you are mimicking the people you say you hate- Elon Musk, Trump, X, etc. Just because the info you spread isn't obviously bigoted, does not mean it's true/unprejudiced.

You are not perfect because you don't like trump. You live in a society where its impossible to live without being affected by the racist/bigoted surroundings. Posting about hating trump isnt activism. Being anti-racist/anti-bigotry is not just what you say and believe, you need to actively work on yourself, research and help.

The recount will (most realistically) not be taking away Trump's victory.
He has clearly gotten many, many, many votes, too many, but what the recount might be able to do is possibly win the House for Democrats, making it the only chamber controlled by democrats, but the Supreme Court, and others could still be ruled by conservatives.

If you are a trans person in America, it is important to know that Minnesota is a trans refugee state and, with governor Tim Walz, still currently has the right for HRT, trans mental health care, abortion, gay marriage, trans rights at school settings, and more fundamental rights that have been slowly taken away in other states.

Remember that not taking the time to educate yourself on the history of racism, homophobia and oppression says a lot more about you as an anti-racist and activist than the amount of posts you've made about hating trump.
