My student and I did an exercise on hotels we've stayed at. The one she stayed at was an interesting one. She had visited Coober Pedy in Australia. The rooms were in underground caves. I think she and her pals stopped there on a trip to see Uluru. They had driven there from Adelaide.
One of students handed out small bags of cherries 🍒 to everyone tonight. His wife had worked at an orchard and was allowed to take some "imperfect" ones.
I have this exercise for preschool classes where I show flash cards and ask the kids questions such as "Do you like tomatoes?...Do you like pancakes?...Do you like tomato pancakes?". 😅 Yesterday I couldn't help but notice the little girl who said "No!" to all the vegetables. 😂
Saw a car with South Korean plates today. 😳 Didn't get a pic of the plates but it had a Hangul character flat in the middle between two sets of numbers. I checked and that seems to be legit.
