For one mad moment, I tried to reopen my twitter account but was then informed that I needed to use a code sent to my old French phone number to complete reactivation. Suddenly, I remembered why I hate twitter so much.

Have just been reassured by madredhattie that "Infinity War" is not the hot mess I feared it would be. Am reluctantly optimistic.
