Little disclaimer, I will talk about Christianity, and it's not always going to be positive. And when I am actively hating on the religion, keep in mind that I am talking purely about my own experience with it

Let's just say, with everything I know about Christianity as a religion and as a community in multiple different ways, there's a reason I abandoned it as soon as I was able to

And I can say all of this with certainty because I have grown up in Christianity (multiple different branches of it, I've been Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, etc, etc because we kept having to switch churches) and I've read the Bible, multiple different versions of it, several times. Like I know what I'm talking about

That whole "heros journey" trope that's in literally everything (at least in America)? Rooted in Christianity.

It doesn't give room for any sort of "grey area", and you can see how badly that affects the real world
