Do you think teaching the chatbot at
chatbotgame.com
using chat rules would help people learn English as a second language?

You don't need a centralized crawler or index. What is done centrally is the identification of browser caches to search based on history.

Web search query => results in search in your browser cache and also other people's browser caches who have issued that query recently.

Anyone know of a web search engine that works using browser caches instead of maintaining its own index?

I'm not the only one who thinks teaching chatbots can be used to help students learn English:

The chatbot misleads a user about privacy in this chat!

You can now click "view chat" on a chat fragment in the Chatbot Game to see the whole chat. This might help you think of chat rules.

Why does Plurk show 80 random Plurkers rather than 81? To encourage people to use the service so their picture goes in the remaining spot?

it would be interesting to allow people to browse Chatbot Game chat rules using a higher level semantic network visualization.
