Well, no matter which kind of best friend you have but you should appreciate all of your best friends. At least they have tried their best to be your best

Why gossip? Because if with them you are more likely to talk about other people or other things for fun but not about your own self.

But the topic itself won't be too deep. You won't tell the whole story but you'll conceal some parts because you still can't really trust them. This can be called as Friends for Gossip (FFG).

You love to talk with them but the topic is just simple things happen around you. You may tell them about yourself, your life, or your problems.

Third, they who know you well enough because you spent a lot of time with them. Usually you meet them because you guys are in the same class or same workplace, so it enables you to meet oftenly.

This kind of best friend can be called as Friends for Fun (FFF). You can find them easily everywhere as long as you have common interests.

But the weakness is, they're just fun. They don't really know you. You feel connected with them just because you guys have some interests.

Second, they who have some interests with you. They're fun and you love spending time with them. An hour is like a second when you're with them.
