Day one of my new job in the bag. Exhausted but excited. Thanks to everyone who cheered me on and sent me positive vibes. Ubisoft is a dream job, LL was too. I am so fortunate.

I have ben re-watching the show Ugly Betty and it's tough because I love the show so much ( it's one of my all-time faces) but it does not hold up well in terms of how it portrays diverse characters.

My alt has a store, she recently lost her build space and inworld store - and it's hard for me now without a place I felt comfy just hanging where I could build and texture and such. This furthers a lot of my empathy with the SL community, I think.

Once my background check clears I will feel better about sharing my new job - but some of you have figured it out already! To some degree, I am starting over, but I can't wait to actually get started!

Signed an offer letter for a job at a company that starts with a U and ends with a T - and I am sooooo excited I wish I could spell it in full but I feel like I should wait until my start date?

The verbal offer came via a phone call this morning! Once I have the written offer and everything signed, I will share the news! Thanks for the positive vibes!!!

UPDATE: So close - nothing in stone yet but they really like me and I did so well they had another job they wanted to ask me about, so I should hear more Monday ish.

Should be getting an update on dream job tomorrow around 4 pm PT. All positive vibes are so appreciated right now!!!

How weird is it that werewolf backwards is "flower ew"? I heard back from one job and it was a no, but the other (the dream gig) is still a possibility. I can't sleep. Brain is weird.
