Welp, we lost power a couple of hours ago. Wind kicking up quite a bit. What a weird storm.

has been having difficulty (increased pain, etc) with the original troublemaker hip. I've been at Duke for chemo and MRI the last few days and it turns out I have a fracture on the head of my femur and one (or more? MRI report hard to read) new metastases in my pelvis/hip. So.... Fuck. Happy Wednesday?

Chemo is kicking my ass, guys

So, it appears we have to cancel/reschedule the kids flights and I have to cancel my chemo. Still don’t know exactly the path of #Florence. So frustrating. I think we are still okay, even 45mph winds are scary around here with the shallow rooted trees. Uffda.

So, I have two kids arriving from Texas today and a hurricane on the way! Yay?
