I learned today that another one of my favorite professors, one from Ecuador, has passed away. I don't know if it was unexpected or if he had any pre-existing health concerns, but he was only 76 so it seems so sudden.
I got the consent form for LASIK, and being a smart person I made sure to read all everything. Booooy, it's never fun to read about all the potential risks and what-ifs for medical things
I went to what I thought was going to be my last dentist appointment for a filling replacement, now they want me in one more time for another tooth that looks a little dubious. Nothing obviously wrong, but there's a gap that could be a bit sus so better safe than sorry D:
Random ask: anyone have good book recommendations about China? I'm looking for higher level cultural info, like if you were going to travel and want to learn the norms or why people do what they do. Nothing too in-depth like analyzing the cultural revolution or other historical events.
