for those of you who have knit the great american aran afghan, are you finding your squares are way off? how are you handling the gauge?

finished 2nd of the boy's anniversary gifts today. yesterday it was a box today it's a curtain for his shed.

I am working in spurts around the house today. So many little odds and ends to be sorted or trashed.

our power went out for about an hour today. turns out a tree fell on some overhead wires in our neighborhood

LACEY'S GETTING ADOPTED! so very excited! We've had this foster for almost 7 mos. So happy for her!

2/3 of our taxes are filed (ish) - waiting for signature from the boy on the city ones so I can mail it. 1 more to go

we have an entire saturday with no obligations!!! I think we're going to start with a trip to the farmers market and make some boilo later!

hey plurkers with kindles, how do you like your knitting pattern PDFs on the kindle? Do you find the font to be a good size?

we filed our federal taxes this morning, now to wait for it to hit our bank account so we can pay state and city taxes.
