when I worked at Wendy's there was this old guy who came in several times near close and would always order a burger, plain, no bun. we served him a cooked hamburger in a plastic tray. like at that point why doesn't he just buy ground beef and cook it at home? (ig he just loved the Wendy's restaurant ambiance)
it's so weird that I used to be astonished at how long it took to create art and now making it I'm unconsciously thinking "yeah it will take me dozens of hours to make something that most people will only appreciate for like 2 minutes tops"
