金漫獎為臺灣漫畫界國家級獎項，自2010年開辦以來，見證無數漫畫創作者及從業人員的榮耀與感動。此外，文化部為促進臺灣漫畫之一源多用，並推廣臺灣原創漫畫家及漫畫作品，自106年起以「 GCA 」為品牌舉行一系列活動。GCA全名為 Golden Comic Awards & Connection+ ，涵蓋「金漫獎頒獎典禮」及「金漫獎系列交流活動」，吸引亞洲及世界各地漫畫家、專業人士及民眾參與。
