it's so gorgeous out today! Wish I had time to sit outside and knit, but a busy day is on tap.

just ordered yarn to participate in Camp Loopy for the 1st time! Decided to do this for my June socks, so ordered sock yarn that I haven't used before - Crazyfoot frm Mountain Colors, in Hummingbird colorway.

glad to be done with April's socks finally - a week late. Now I can work on Hannah's sweater again. Not sure I'll knit socks in May - too warm to want to knit much with wool...

sitting on the couch with my laptop (working) while Hannah sits on the other side, leg propped up, doing her schoolwork. My 'couch buddy'.

So glad to be home from the hospital after 6 days there w/ 10-year-old after her surgery. Now working on the logistics of keeping a mostly immobile 10yo busy during the days...

getting everything figured out for 10yo's surgery and hospital stay this week.

enjoying the sunshine and listening to the birds. Still not very warm outside, but starting to feel sorta like spring... maybe!

going to enjoy the last half-hour of peace and quiet before the kids get home from school.

watching more white stuff fall from the sky and hoping for spring soon. Maybe??
