well, turns out the initials of that ancestor of mine are not H.D., it's actually H.P. and since the initials are reversed given the time period, they're in fact P.H., just like mine.
Add also that Paul, his first name, is the name I kept giving myself when I would pretend to be a boy, it's even more of a connection than I initially thought.
That's nice.

We found a cookbook from 1893 with doodles of my ancestor H.D. from 1984 during his confectioner career and his art style, including his flaws, when drawing stuff, be it realism or just patterns, is so close to mine, it's kinda eerie.
But it's so nice to be connected like this.
