I still don't understand wtf is up with parole but

HE IS OFFICIALLY HOME!!!

he's moved in with my dad, he has his old art desk set up, he has had a much-needed haircut and beard trim, he has real clothes, a real bed

mom said that he just SLEPT for a thousand years after he got home

it's so surreal

can't believe it

I was so worried that with the parole weirdness, the apartment wouldn't get approved and he'd have to stay in the halfway house, or find a nasty motel again, or move back into his car

it's just wild to think that he's not only out of prison but is also not homeless. it's been so many years since both of those facts were true.
