we got our hopes up, because we stopped hearing from him on friday, so we all assumed my brother had been moved to statesville finally

but nope

the tablets have just been down, so he hasn't been able to make calls

still no idea when he's going to be moved, how long this will take, etc

he's back to sitting around in a county jail until they deign to move him. no art supplies, no books, no D&D with buddies, he has a celly again, etc.

was supposed to be released at the end of september

so just stuck waiting until they finally decide to move him to statesville, and then who knows how long until they bring him before the parole board so they can look at his file and go "yep, you have served your parole concurrently, you can go home"

calls are back to being expensive again. I already used up my money. I didnt want to have to recharge this phone card.

this is another thing I didnt realize was a problem!! there are too many prisoners, but they're also taking their sweet time in letting them go!!
