I fundamentally do not understand the process involved in going from "existing in the same space" to actual friendship. Like, the majority of friends I've made in my life have mostly just put up with me long enough that we became friends by fiat.
And then when people like, join a team at work and two weeks later are inviting each other over to houses for game nights or bbqs I'm (internally) like PLEASE EXPLAIN
I think its why I make so many tabletop characters with connection issues, I like don't even understand it enough to roleplay it in a way that satisfies me.
