Have any of you made a "friends and family" type mastodon instance? Or are interested in the same? I'd pony up towards sharing the cost of a hosted server (the cheapest I've found that's accepting new accounts is about $30/month for 100 users).

Don't know whut it is, but I'd join fur 30 cents a month each.
it's a social network sort of thing that some people are moving to from twitter.
I'd tag along, I think.
