Oh one I can recommended for sci-fi, eldritch horror lovers Signalis

It definitely has the feel of classic survival horror, fresh themes, a female protagonist and at least one queer romance. (don't know if there are others beyond the main one, I've yet to finish it but my friend gives it glowing reviews)
