You know when you drive to work, and sit in the parking lot trying not to cry because of the stress. And sometimes you throw up. It's time to go.

I took a sudden emergency 10 days off because I couldn't deal, and realized that, since that never happens, it was time to go.

I cam across a neat tiny company making something for the green energy - realized I have a couple of gigs left in me before retirement and to help right the wrongs we have done to mother earth is a noble cause !

We will stay in the Boston area, but not North Shore. So will be moving in a bit.

Qwis: Thanks! I have been in hugely stressful positions in my life, but this just really got to me.

I also tend to stick around 7 years or so at typical jobs, but this time I am leaving at 3.5 years.
