I'm just grateful that she is calm and not in pain. Her guardian kitty (Callie) is curled up against her chest. She never leaves her side, unless we move her. Then she gets some food and comes back to curl up with mom all over again
There's a weird kind of urgency in everything now, but there's nothing to do. She has sores, but other than putting barrier cream on them, I'm not supposed to act. They aren't going to heal.
I'm so sorry you are going through something so heavy and hard, but echoing what others have said. Glad you can be with her. Take care of yourself as much as you can.
When you start to heal from the grief, you'll feel good knowing you were here, however hard it is right now. WHatever you feel is okay to feel. I hope things move peacefully onward.
