I've been gone a long time... if you search for someone and it says theres no such person, but they are still on my friends list... what does that mean? 
Hi gorgeous! You mean in SL? Probably they made themselves not searchable. I beliethst is still an option
it's either that or they have been suspended, which can happen if they left SL owing money for a premium account
