There are exceedingly few people I am aware of who would have known him from back then, but I regret to announce the person behind Sinistar Mahoney has passed away.
I met Sini back in '06 back at the Elbow Room and while we weren't very close, I only have good memories of him and we did manage to have some good chats about music, audio equipment, the news, and the like.
Eventually, much like many folks who have come and gone from SL, he drifted away but we did keep in touch every now and then on FB.
It was a rough day already with the news from Atlanta. Hearing about his passing hasn't helped.
Sorry to hear the news.
